The Parent Philanthropy and Engagement office cultivates enduring connections and relationships with parents that foster philanthropic interest and involvement at UCLA.

Our office is comprised of two Directors of Development who work closely with the Office of Parent & Family Programs and various offices across campus to support parent involvement and provide a seamless experience for you while your student is on campus. Together we enable all UCLA parents to support the university in meaningful ways through their time and financial support.

Ways for parents to be involved

Sending our children to college is an investment in their future. When we support UCLA, we’re actively protecting that investment, ensuring their education retains its value.

-          Join us and fellow parents as a volunteer

-          Connect with the parent community on Facebook

-          Attend campus events such as Parents’ Weekend

-          Support UCLA with a philanthropic gift

Leadership Support

UCLA offers many levels of donor support, including leadership level gifts through the UCLA Chancellor’s Society.  There are countless areas to support, ranging from student scholarships to academic departments.

Those who desire to make a more significant impact may choose to donate at the level of $1000 or more annually.  In appreciation for leadership giving, donors receive special courtesies, including invitations to special events and a personal campus liaison to help families navigate UCLA.
